Quenlo Privacy Policy
Quenlo (“App”) is operated by Alpha Works India (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it. Contact: support@alphaworksindia.com
1. What Quenlo does
Quenlo is a career guidance and learning-habit app. It provides AI career chat, learning roadmaps, streaks/habits, and optional paid subscriptions and AI credit packs via Google Play Billing.
2. Data we collect
- Account: email, display name, Firebase Authentication identifiers, and Google account info if you sign in with Google.
- Profile / onboarding: information you enter (for example education stage, goals, interests) to personalise guidance.
- App content you create: chat messages, roadmaps, streak/habit entries, reflections, and similar in-app data.
- Device & security: app version, basic device/OS info, and App Check / anti-abuse signals where enabled.
- Purchases: Play Billing purchase tokens and subscription status (processed by Google; we store entitlement status on our servers). We do not store your full card number.
- Diagnostics: crash and performance logs that may include device model and OS version (no payment card data).
3. How we use data
- Provide and improve the App (authentication, sync, streaks, chat, roadmaps).
- Run AI features via our backend (your prompts and relevant profile context are sent to our servers and AI providers to generate responses). Guidance is informational only — not a placement or salary guarantee.
- Enforce subscriptions / quotas and prevent abuse.
- Comply with law (including applicable Indian data protection rules such as DPDP where relevant).
4. Sharing
We use processors who help us run the App, including:
- Google Firebase (Authentication and related Google services)
- Our hosting / API infrastructure
- AI model providers (to generate chat/roadmap replies)
- Google Play (billing)
We do not sell your personal data. We do not show third-party behavioural advertising in the App.
5. Children
Quenlo is intended for users who can create an account under applicable law. If you indicate you are under 18, we apply extra care (including no behavioural ads). Parents or guardians who believe a child under the applicable age created an account may contact us to request deletion.
6. Retention & deletion
We keep account and app data while your account is active. You may request account deletion in the App (Profile → Delete account) or via our account deletion page. After deletion, we remove or anonymise personal data except where we must retain limited records (for example fraud, legal, or completed purchase records).
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures (HTTPS, authenticated APIs, secure token storage on device). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8. Changes
We may update this policy and will revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
